Observing Elixir microservices at Brex
Thomas' coding journey started as a kid in an attic, designing and building web based games in PHP and Flash. Now, at Brex, his main interests are empowering other teams to build well designed, reliable and highly observable systems by providing powerful abstractions and primitives.

Observability for Elixir microservices
This talk provides a high-level overview of observability at Brex for our microservice architecture in Elixir. In particular, it details the custom libraries and frameworks we use as core primitives to best understand how our systems behave, as well as the tooling we use to surface metrics, logs and traces to developers.
